Calgary and Toronto, plenty of opportunities and good money
I've never been in a small town, I know Montreal very well but I prefer Toronto (you need french in Montreal and taxes are high)

It really depends on what kind of job you have and what you are looking for in a city.
I live in Montreal, right downtown. Walking distance of theaters, restaurants, clubs, the Old Montreal, and about 20 minutes walking from my job. Can't get any better. Then again, I could not work in my field in a small town, so I would be unemployed, or doing something I don't like in a smaller community.
So you see, the best place to live in Canada is the one that suits your needs and your aspirations.

AURORA ONTARIO!!! It's a kinda small town. Usually referred to as a suburb of Toronto. I love it in Aurora. Lots goes on, and it's still pretty small, and I prefer to live in the smaller towns. The Aurora Tigers are the heart and soul of Aurora. I love Aurora.
and p.s. i hope whoever said seattle was just joking.

Prince George is a beutiful city. Small enough, but big enough too. It has everything you need, including affordable housing. Tonnes of lakes, ski hills, and fun. It is four hours from Jasper. Friendly people too.
