okay, i had this really good dessert one day at my friends house a couple of years ago, we are not friends anymore so i don't talk to her and ask her what the recipe for it was. I really feel like eating it, but i don't even know what it is called to get the recipe so i am going to try to explain it. it is not cakes, pie, cookie or anything like that. it has little pieces og pineapple in it, it is like little tiny white balls and it is very creamy and i think it has other fruits in it. please, if anyone knows what i am talking about please tell me the recipe.
Thank you so much!!!

You might have had Ambrosia?

1 - 8oz tub of Cool Whip (or sour cream, depending on how sweet you like it)
1 - 16oz can of Mandarin Oranges
1 - 16oz can of Fruit Cocktail
1 - 16oz can crushed or cubed Pineapple
2 cups of minature Marshmellows
2 cups of shredded Coconut

Drain all of the canned fruits. Mix ingredients and chill.

I'm guessing the little white balls you are referring to were the marshmellows... hee! I actually just made this for our cookout tomorrow. It's best to chill this overnight - to give it time for all of the flavors to fuse! Yum!

It sounds a bit like something I sometimes make...

1 container Cool Whip
1 medium container cottage cheese
1 packet orange Jello/gelatin mix
1 8oz can mandarin oranges (drain first)
1 8oz can pineapple (drain first)

Just mix all ingredients together in a large bowl.

You can also do this with different fruits and different flavors of jello.

I don't know the recipe, but it sounds like Fruit Salad. The little tiny white balls; I believe, are marshmellows.
