i have a desk lamp that tunrs on when you touch it, but now it just turned on a few times without touching it, i was looking at it and it was turning on..what the bloody hell is wrong with it?

These lamps have a "touch sensor" at their bottom, which is probably now damaged and turns on the lamp even if there is no contact.
There are repair kits that may be able to fix it.

There could be a short somewhere in the house, or in the lamps. If your house is connected to another house, it could be someone blowing a fuse. Or if you DO have a ghost, then maybe its your friend! Good Luck!
