I'm the only girl in the family, and I have an older brother.

I had the horrible pleasure of having a sister and brother, they are twins and 9 years older than me. So my relatonship with my sister was always Mom #2. Instead of best friends or something like that. But on the other hand it was fun because she and I can talk about whatever and I don't have the same embarassment as if she were my mom. Being the only girl is tough because it may seem as if the guys don't understand you. But if you have a best girlfriend then they are just as good if not better.

well to have a sister is like having a best friend. but she lives with you all the time and gets annoying. i have two sisters and five borthers, and sometimes when you have alot of siblings you dont want them because we hardly got any presents for chritmas or our birthdays, it sucked when it came time to get school clothes, money was tight and food was very little. I am not thats old and wish I was born to a smaller family. but on the other hand I love all my brothers and sisters and not it is very different with us. we all go out ot eat together, now that we are working and we are rarely home, because we go out so much. yes christmas is still crazy but now it is fun and we get the kids tons of presents because we didnt have that. we are all over the age of 20 and it is now great, before not so good but now. I couldnt imagine being without any of the people I call brothers and sisters!

It's ok. My sister is older and some times we do not always get along. Most of the time we get along ok. Just a lot of little issues. Even though you don't have one, try to be happy withyour brother. I always wanted a brother. That would be cool for me. i get along better with guys than girls. LOL Good luck.

I have a sister and two brothers.
I'll tell you, my younger brother and sister are so similar.. both are bratty and really quite superficial haha. I love them because they're my siblings, but both are the same.
Having a sister can be great but girls are just catty... I find it hard to get along with my sister because my mindset is more male then it is female.. I know it sounds ridiculous but girls like to talk bad about each other, its sort of a way of feeling better, and girls tend to be more.. behind-the-action and guys are more upfront.
Be glad you don't have to deal with a sister who can be like one of those girls you dislike in school. (although brothers arent that much better! hahha, but i do get along with my oldest brother the best).
And yeah I wasn't really best friends with my sister either, shes more like the one who tries to tell me what to do. It gets annoying.. shes like my mom #2 too.

my sis was 8 yrs older than i. she was the best. there's nothing like a sister. it's hard to describe really. i am the flighty one and she always had a good head on her shoulders. whenever i was losing it, she was the one who could help me find it again. when she died, a part of me died too. now i am the only girl in the family if i don't count my sis in law. it sucks being the only girl.

Well if you have a older sister than you...It might be easier because she would be nice and helpful like mine.....on the other hand you don't want a little sister because they annoy you a lot just like my little sister does.....(we barely get along)

i have 3 sisters. it can be awesome sometimes. i have a twin so we share clothes, secrets, and everything else. my other older sis is pretty cool. she takes me places and buys me things and i can almost tell her anything. my other older sis is ok. she talks to me occasionly. when we were littler though it was a blast. we would do all kinds of wierd fun stuff. like sing and rollerblade in the basement and play dressup and "pretend" and barbies. it was so much fun and still is.

mine are crazy! me and my big sis dont get along as well as me and my little sis but she( big sis) is always there for me.even when we dont get along.she is feircely protective.( good thing) my little sis is a nut job and crazy fun.she always made me laugh( after i got over being pissed) she always loved to hide and scare me..i would go for runs down our dirt road and she knew what time i went,so she would take a shortcut through the woods and make scary sounds or jump out at me..god i liked to have heartattacks! she will also outta the blue walk behind me and kick me behind my knee and i will fall flat on my face! she still does that and we are in our 20s! its really nice to have them..i wonder what it would be like to have a brother sometimes though. enjoy what you have..some ppl dont have sibblings to grow old with..if they dont kill ya befor you can grow old!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It can most of the time be real bad but it is awesome you can talk to them and like they are your related best friend.
