I will tell you right now, he is not a Christian. He knows nothing about what Christ taught. He is arrogant and self-righteous.
Christ is about love and meekness, something ol' fundie knows nothing about.

Why are atheists so hateful and intolerant?
they are probably that way because they think they have no meaning in life. and its true. in our modern civilization, they pollute our minds with things such as "there was a monkey who all of a sudden turned into a person". please, if you are not going to accept God, then you might as well just jump off a cliff and burn in Hell.

Sometimes Atheists will pose as Christians and sometimes Christians will pose as Atheists. It's irriating.

I know not all Christians are like that. Fundies are always the ones who ruin it for others. You don't have to apologize for him, although I think it's nice that you did. You are officially not lumped with fundies.:) You are good guy.

And "proud"- you are an embarrassment to the term Christian. Jesus told us to "turn the other cheek" when we are reviled. Way to go on that one. We are also told to "season our words with salt" to make them appealing to others who hear our message. Again, way to go.
