Yes, there is. In fact, most historians, even non-Christians, know that Jesus Christ existed.

No not really. The first person to write about jesus, some historian named josephus, did so around 60-70 years after jesus' death. And for anyone that says the bible conforms jesus' existence-I've read 4 of the harry potter books so i guess he exist also.

I do believe that Jesus did exist, that he did many great things for the people, not necessarily "miracles", yet, good anyway). I do not believe he was a Savior, but of course, he, like Mohammed, must be respected; and the Bible and the Koran, as well as Holy Scriptures of other faiths must be respected as well. Am I wrong to think this way?

Yes, there were many visitors from other places in Jerusalem and there are some others sources of written documentation in Greek and Roman archives.

The bible is no good as evidence

Thats about as useful as using Harry Potter for the proof of Quidditch. Its just a book,people.
