Be careful not to scorch yourself by putting your face too close to hot water or by not testing a microwaved towel on the back of your hand.
As for clay masks mentioned in the article, I like Beauty w/o Cruelty & Origins Charcoal Mask.

The best way its:
1. Fill a bowl/sink with hot water (essential essences can be added if desired).
2. Make sure all makeup/dirt is removed from your skin.
3. Put your face over the water with a towel over you head.
4. Steam for a few minutes.
5. This is a great time to apply a face mask.
6. Rinse off face mask
7. Lastly apply you favorite moisturizer.
Hope i helped, n you'll have beautiful skin in no time

Boil a large pot of water. Take off the stove. Place a towel around the head so it drapes over the sides of your head and place your face as close to the steam from the boiling water using the towel to trap the steam. It's a little hard to breath so you may have to hold your breath, take your face away for a breath and go back to the steaming.

Steam your face depending on your skin, any where from 5-10 min, if you have very sensitive or aging skin i would do less, say abount 2-7 and then use an extractor and gently go over the black heads, or use your fingers wrapped in cotton or tissues and gently squeeze them. I reccommed using a clay mask afterwards.

The wash cloth (wet, clean) and heat in micro is best.
Repeat and then wash your face. Also apply a deep cleaning mask - and exofliate twice a week (on a steamed face)
that is clean (not on the same day as a mask)!

I'm not sure about steam, but I once had problems with acne and black heads. I started drinking lots of water and washing my face with antibacterial soap and it seems to help a lot. I don't have very many problems at all. I hope this helps.

I've tried it and it doesn't work that well.. But you fill up the sink with boiling hot water, steam your face it the steam, and then wash your face and close up your pores with a cold, wet washcloth
