do guys prefer tomboys and girls they've known for awhile or the prissy little girly things? I'm a tomboy and i can't find anybody...and i think it may be because i'm one of the guys. What should i do?

baby girl, i prefer tom boy when i was dating. there are more things to do on a date. don't rush to find a boyfriend baby girl, he'll find you.

I would love to know this too. I'm a tomboy, and the longest relationship I have ever had was 2 monthes-and that was over a year ago. I wish I could find out what guys really like in a girl so I could get one. :)

No its not, i dont' mind tomboys, i like how they are athletic and do stuff other girls can't do. But maybe you should add a little bit of "girly" to your life. I'm a guy so i'm not really good for this but ask a best girl friend/older sister on how you can act more girly.

Well tomboys are kewl cause they're still girls but can do awesome stuff girly girls can't and those girly girls are such a pain! they fuss over the slightest thing, and go into the mall for one thing, come out with tons of bags. and they are demanding cause they are used to being the princess. i am not a guy, but this is what i think!

Maybe it is time to put a little more thought into your appearance?
- How's your hair?
- What kind of clothes do you wear? Perhaps you should wear a knee length skirt some time?
- Do you wear any makeup? A little powder and lip gloss can go a long way.
While I would rather date a girl that is my friend and is comfortable talking to me (and men in general), if she has the dressing and hygene of a "guy," I am seriously turned off.

I think guys like a tomboy to be able to do anything with and at the same act prissy when they are out amongst other people.
Kinda like who doesnt think Jessica Biel is hot...she falls into this mold.

I was the biggest tomboy alive . I love the way i can hop fences and kick *** in football but i have style. I hate dresses and shoes so i wear air jordans,tight jeans, and tight shirts. Or sweatpants and a small wifebeater. Try something new, mix it up, try eyeliner and lipgloss or chapstick. Make sure your clothes match, and try different hairstyles. If you are like me you're very uncomfortable wearing tight clothes but you'll get used to it and i think you will love it. BTW a man worth keeping will love you for who you are! Good Luck!

find a happy medium. i like girls that like all the typical girl things, shopping and stuff. but at the same time is fairly athletic and can easily hang out with the guys.
but then again it depends on the guy. and it sounds like you might be lookin too hard. sometimes relationships are easiest when you dont even see them coming.

it all depends on the guy. not every guy is the same so they all like different types of girls. but don't try to change yourself just because the stupid guy wants you to be this-or-that. if your a tomboy, then the guy will just have to get over it. :)
