Good answer Curly, but I think I'm going to go with Lore because it is more relevent to me. I'm only a college student in a dorm wanting to know if I won't get sick from eating the remains of my salad later. Thanks for the answers everyone.

probaby. it won't make you sick, but the dressing will make the lettuce a little soggy.

It depends on the type of salad dressing. If it is refrigerated at the grocery store, obviously it needs to stay cold. Most dressings should be placed in fridge once opened to preserve their contents. It will last longer if placed in fridge,

Nutritionally, it should be fine. It will get wilted, though.
The only thing about Caesar dressing to worry about is how it's made. If it is homemade (like from a restaurant), you want to make sure it's a very clean place.
Aside from the pureed sardines, its the raw egg whites you need to be careful of. Sometimes salmonella poisoning can occur from the unclean handling of eggs that can get transferred from the egg itself or its handler(s).
On the other hand, if you got it out of a bottle, it should be fine as many food manufacturers have to follow FDA guidelines for things like irradiation to ensure the food is clean when distributed in the market.

Yes but your lettuce will be "cooked". the dressing will impact the lettuce and wilt it quite a bit. The better idea is to put the salad in the fridge sans dressing, and dress it right before you serve it. Then you toss it, and put it on the table. Better yet. but the dressing on the table and allow your guests to serve themselves. People like me like very little dressing.

It should be fine... I'm assuming the croutons are separate or they may be a little soggy.
