First, there can't be any physical proof for something that isn't physical. God is spirit, not matter.
Second, just because someone can't prove something doesn't mean that it doesn't exist. Since God's existence can't be proven or disproven, all we can find is reasons to believe one way or the other. I happen to think that the reasons to believe in His existence are stronger than those to disbelieve.

It's a thing called hope. Having hope and faith in something...that's what life is about. Oh, and there's absolutely NO proof that God does or does not exist. If people want to believe in something, then let them. You can't force anyone to believe in what you believe. And why is it that you have to bash on other people's beliefs? WE BELIEVE IN IT BECAUSE WE CAN.

There's no proof for god and there's no proof AGAINST one either. We just haven't found the science to defend or contradict one. Personal experience doesn't count but neither does the lack of physical proof of a holy spook.

what wrong with believe that there is something out there, that made the earth, and made me in his own image, and believeing that i am not perfect because i make mistakes everyday, but believing that my creator loved me so much he sent his son to die for me. what wrong with believeing that there is an unfailing love, that there is a purpose for me life. that i mean somthing to someone, i dont see why people have such a hard time with that.

It's quicker than a real education and easier than admitting that you don't know.
