God's Word is Jesus (see John 1)
Jesus said He is the Bread of Life.
The Bible is God's Word.
It is Spiritual nutrition.
In the Lord's Prayer, it also acknowledges that Jesus is the supplier of all our needs, spiritual and physical.

No, h20, is the bread of life.
IN the Holly writings exist factual, symbolic, allegoric, relative to the time etc. interpretations. Not everybody knows how to interpret the writing. That why we are in a mess!
Example: The sun movements around the earth
The face of God
The six days of of creation
Christ returning on a cloud
Christ returning like a thief in the night
Apostle Peter as a symbol of
intense faith in Christ (unshakable, like a stone).
Apostle Peter, the stone, the foundation.
Christian scholars believe that in the Old Testament there were, and are more than two hundred symbols, allusions, factual information about the coming of the Messiah. And yet this was not enough to recognize him.
Christ said "Watch!" for my second coming. All the information given is there, but only the pure of heart will recognize Him! Is it to late now?

It is a metaphor for the things we need each day to stay alive. It can also be a metaphor for the world of God.

Daily bread is the source of food to our Spiritual lives. We hunger to God, and our daily bread is Jesus, who satisfies our eternal hunger.
