I like Juan Pablo Montoya. An agressive driver, but not like what some people want you to think. He still has a few things to learn, but I think he will be a good driver.

I liked him in F1 and even more in NASCAR.
Throughout his F1 career, I was thinking he needed fenders and bumpers on his car so we could see what he could really do in a racecar.
He's doing real well in NASCAR for a "rookie" and shows no fear of racing anyone. He's learned some good lessons, such as don't let Stewart move him off his line on the straight. Stewart, knowing what a hard charger Montoya is, set him up for the blame for that incident at Texas. Funny thing is, I think Stewart learned an even bigger lesson like, don't stay on the outside of Montoya on entry after taking his entry away.
The two dates I have circled on the calender are June 24 when Cup rolls into Sonoma and August 12 in Watkins Glen.
Juan gets into his element with the road courses and then we will see what he can do against the best road racers NASCAR can offer up. Those 2 dates will give him the best opportunities to rack up a Cup win in his first year.
For the first time in years, I can actually say I'm looking forward to a road race!
Thank You, Juan for having the courage to face the sneers of the elite and jeers of the less than elite to do what you want to do, go racin'. Welcome to "Dixie", amigo. I always did like Southern racers and I don't believe they come any more Southern than Juan.

specific, i observed that ballot. As disappointing because it became to confirm Juan Pablo Montoya supply the race away, that's what he did. there are distinctive people who purchase into the sufferer mentality/great conspiracies. for this reason you notice this so in many circumstances. i've got self belief it could have been so lots greater helpful exposure for Nascar had JPM gained. in spite of everything, he'd be the only driving force ever to win the two the Indy 500 and the Brickyard 4 hundred. He could have been historic for many reasons. yet another win by Jimmie Johnson, on the different hand, generated little exhilaration in any respect.

I've got nothing against him but he seriously needs to work on his nasty attitude. He is very smug and he never wants to take the blame for doing anything wrong. He thinks that he can race everybody on the track hard, but if they race him hard then he goes and wrecks him.
He has caused a wreck in every race this season and I'm sick and tired of hearing people say that he's a rookie and rookie's are going to make mistakes. Martin Truex Jr was a rookie last season and when he made a mistake...the commentators and others were out to get him. I specifically remember what happened during the Spring Bristol race last season, when Martin got into Jeff Gordon and then Tony Stewart flat out wrecked Truex. The Fox announcers said that Martin got what he deserved because he was in Tony's way. Then they broadcasted Martin's talk between him and his crew chief for everyone to hear.
So...why is it that Martin gets bashed when he was a rookie and he made mistakes but when Juan Pablo Montoya does something wrong...it's because he's a rookie and he didn't know better?

Montoya is, without a doubt, the most exciting driver to come on the NASCAR scene in ages, mostly because he is the most accomplished driver to ever come into NASCAR. No other driver in the history of NASCAR came into NASCAR with the resume equal to Montoya. For a rookie, he has also shown amazing skill in a new class of racing so he is picking up the skill of driving in this class quickly, such as his extraordinary move from 21st to victory lane at Mexico City. "Hating" of "liking" a driver seems childish. We all have our favorite or favorites, but it is childish to "hate" other drivers. I respect drivers that are not my favorites simply because to get to NASCAR is a supreme accomplishment.

Great driver. Probably the best pure driver NASCAR has seen in 20 years. He drives hard and will not back down. I figured NASCAR people would love that, but most NASCAR fans think he is Mexican, so they dislike him. Could you imagine if he drove a Toyota this season?

Had the notion that he wouldn't change in NASCAR too. Nobody is missing him in F1, and I guess lot of NASCAR fans would want to miss him now that they have a taste of him.
BTW, F1 doesnt want him back.

hey how is Montoya doing in Nascar?
I use't to be a big F1 fan but to be honest have'nt really followed it in recent years, but I remember when Montoya burst onto the scene a few years ago, he was really aggressive and one of the few drivers not afraid of Shumarcher.

I've not seen him in NASCAR, only when he was in F1 and he was a great driver. Balls of steel behind the wheel.

He's an amazing driver, however he needs to learn of the team concept...that guy might never win again!
he's hilarious to me because he's learning NASCAR english and is sounding more and more like a redneck everyday
