I'll pray for you, Lou. Just remember, though, life is all about ups and downs, so hang in there. The great thing is God is faithful and will never leave you (Heb.13:5) and He will use everything for your good and His glory (Rom.8:28).

Yes Lou - We've probably all been there done that.
It's important to remember that God is not a God of confusion. Satan will have you believe many things. You must resist him. Continue to pray - and yes, I will pray for you - and ask the Lord to break down the barriers. You will eventually see what the Lord wants you to see.
blessings :)

YES! I have.
God answered too! Not that day, not that week, but soon after HE DID answer, and I knew it was God! Only God can change a person's heart--and when you see that through prayer, and they do not even know you are praying for them...it is awesome!
I will pray for you-

yes, i've been there a time or two...and i said exactly what you said, until i found myself asking 'what am I doing, God?'...whenever there is a wall between God and myself, i'm the one who built it...i'm praying for you...please remember that God does love you...even Christ cried out 'Father, why have You forsaken Me?'...try not to beat up on yourself...and remember, He will not give you more of a burden than you can carry-even when it seems He has more confidence in you than you have in yourself

Yes I will pray for you
Just because someone is a christian does not mean they we will not have any pain or sorrow....It does though give assurance that God will not leave your side and Yes he is with us when we are at our worst....wanting us to draw closer to him....through prayer and thought...... And yes I have fallen to my knee and cried out for him....Many Christians have

I will answer your call for help by showing you an answer to another question comparing the concepts of 'free will' verses 'cause and effect'. Athough the situations mentioned probably wont' apply to you directly, the point about goal setting may help to put a better perspective upon your sufferings. These concepts are universal between all religions. What is more powerfull than outside prayer is inner deliberation upon the teachings of God found in the many scriptures from all the religions. Here it is::::
--------------------------------
Free will is one concept,
'Cause and effect' is another concept.
For every choice, it depends upon how you weight your perception. For instance, you might be jealous of your best friend because he stole your girl friend. However, if you choose to ignore that emotion altogether and instead emmerse one'self in work to achieve a specific goal, the obviously cause and effect is cutt off in favour of free will.
Another way to think of this: If you make your decisions based upon outside stimulus, (in a reactive way), they you will be thrown around by the waves of course and effect. However, if you make your decisions based upon rational goals which are not dependent upon outside circumstances, then one will not be disappointed by circumstances.
If you set your heart on a girl, she may turn you down. So this goal is subject to outside forces. If instead you set your goal as maintaining a healthy social life, then it is up to you to maintain that social life by continually maintaining friendship networks. If you hope your mother never dies, this is a goal relying on outside forces. If you hope that you maintain a good video record of your mums life, this is a goal that relies on yourself and so it is an inner goal.
Free will is simply the freedom to choose between a number of options (free from direct divine control). If you make goals to suit one's own needs dependent upon obtaining possesions, wealth, power or women, then you will be happy or sad depending upon if those needs are met. How you set your goals will determine whether you suffer karma or cause and effect.

At times, yes. It usually is when my self, and my own expectations, gets in the way of reality and God's will. It can be a time of great spiritual growth. God is with you, take courage. You have my prayer for peace and understanding. Please read psalm 3. God bless.

Sometimes I get confused to! You need to listen to that still voice of God and He will talk to you! Sometimes we get so caught up with the things of this world that we try to do things on our own and don't listen to God!
