It's kinda irritating. I thought this forum was suppose to be for questions about religion. Not a medium to gain more converts.
If you disagree with me I understand, but maybe I'll start trying to convert people over to Buddhism, instead.
Or we can all go back to answering questions and having religious debates.

I have actually seen people trying to convert others to Islam etc...on these boards, and everyone keeps saying it's freedom of speech to ask or say anything you wish in here. (That is the answer I have seen when people ask why some people bash others)
So how is this any different?
Plus if you don't like the question then why go in and read it?
There are plenty of other questions going on that you can focus on.
I myself avoid them, although i am already a Christian but I also avoid the hundreds of questions I have seen about "Why can't Christian's see the truth and become Athiest?"..etc..etc...or "You should be Islamic!! read on.."
I have the choice to read it or not, and so do you and anyone else.

It's like that off and on. At some times, the forum will be dominated by atheists. At other times there will be a bunch of Christian fundamentalists. Other times it will consist of Christians who are more liberal. Then, sometimes it will be mostly Pagans/Other religions.
And still yet, sometimes it's a melting pot.

I thought this was a place where everyone could express their views, including Christians. Besides, there's probably just as many atheists trying to convert others to their beliefs as there are Christians trying to convert others to theirs.

I think people just started answering those who are angry at Christians and got carried away. They have the right, but there's been a lot of it lately, you're correct.

If you are a christian you have to realize there's no mention of the Internet in the bible and that means god didnt create it. So it must have been instigated by the devil. So all the christians on here are actually consorting with works of the devil and condemming themselves to roasting.
If you're not a christian everything is cool though. You know theres no god or devil and life is fun.

If only all of the Christians would just shut the hell up. I don't care about the father, the son - or the bastard stepchild, the holy spirit. I love questions like "How much do you love jesus" or "Isn't jesus the greatest"?
I wonder how they would like it if I asked "Wouldn't it had been great if Mary had taken a rusty wire to jesus as a fetus - and if she had - could he as a superhero have stopped her?"

What do you mean? A couple days ago I read an essay by someone trying to win people over to Deism. Every religion has been competing here.
Edit: Except Jews. They don't come here because unlike us, they have a life.
