First of all..don't use soap on a rope.. the inmates use it to beat someone with..
Second you learn real quick if you can take a shower or not/ because usually there is a few men lined up.. and you may have to fight your way there unless you have earned their respect already.. But if you did drop the soap.. I would say.. it belongs to who ever wants to pick it up- since picking it up might be inviting to the long term cell mate that has nothing to lose since he is in there for life. And you know..you bending over doesn't look that bad to him.

Pain unlike anything you've ever felt before. That's because some big, burly inmate will come up from behind and cram his...................hand down to pick up the soap first. Chances are you'll pull a muscle wrestling for the soap.
The bar then slips out you hands and flies through the showerroom and lands in front of "Big Al", who's the boss of that cell block. He's, big, he's burly and he's naked. You kneel before him, lower you head and open your mouth to............tell him thank you for returning the soap.

Well, you bend over to pick up the soap, exposing your derriere to a male inmate who may have gone without sex for several years. What happens after that depends on his ability to resist his urges and/or your ability to fight him off.
If you go to prison, ask your family to send you soap-on-a-rope.
