No, I believe that if you cause someone to form an opinion based on misdirection or witholding information, than you are being deceptive.

Omitting part of the truth is a way of deceiving others. An outright lie is as well but of course you know this already. If you are deceiving someone it is deception by definition.

Deception does not have to be, but definitely includes an outright lie. Deception is also when you try to twist what you say in order to trick someone into believing what is not entirely true. (manipulation)

Wilful or intentional deception, as in a confidence trickster. Self deception as in the Bible is God`s voice.

Deception is the intentional act of making someone believe something that is not true. Sometimes people deceive, sometimes Satanic forces deceive... but in either case, there is some conscious entity that is actively misleading another.

No, a Lie of Omission would also be a lie. If there's a piece of information that would be commonly accepted as pertinent to the situation but that you withheld, that would be deceptive.

someone who make you belileve them to make themselves lood good or you look bad.
a person who lies decieves you.
they take for granted people who are true to their beliefs and use that to decieve them. because usually a person who is truthful also beleives others too easily. unless they learned the art of deception. then it only would make a the one who lies look bad
