First, you need to look at your electrical bill to determine how many kWh you use a year.

Before looking into windmill sizes, you should measure the average wind velocity that your property receives.

You can use these quantities to properly size a windmill for your house.

Don't forget that the amount of wind power your property receives likely fluctuates with the seasons.

The problem is not buying it. That is easy. Your problem will be getting a zoning easement and a building permit to install the tower with the windmill on it. And to make it worse if your neighbors realize how annoying and nerve-wracking it will be to have that thing buzzing night and day in your yard they will fight against you on the zoning and the permit.

the problem with this is that no one sells wind mills why because it is illegal
free energy is illegal because the government wants you to buy energy from them instead of getting energy for free if you were to be getting energy for free you will be fined and spend some time (i'm not sure how long) in the joint
