If Christians had any real victory over sin, wouldn't that mean that they sinned less? Is not victory power over something? It seems to me that Christians sin as much as anyone else, and are thus as much slaves to such.
Then again, if one has the position there is no sin, and that life is a continuing lesson, wouldn't that be true victory? Why not stop believing the lie that man is inherently evil and worthy of nothing but eternal judgement, and adopt the better position that we are all on a journey, here to help each oother, and striving eternally for perfection?
The only condemnation and judgement is that which we impose on ourselves.

Atheists are usually nicer than christians when it comes to a debate.
Anyway, Jewish people already had victory over sin before Jesus. Only the gentiles are saved by JC.

"Sin" is hurting someone else or hurting yourself. The only victory we have over "sin" is when we are able to comprehend why it was wrong to cause another (or ourselves) pain, and to make amends to whomever we hurt. We are all connected, and have a responsibility to each other. This was the original message of "Christianity", but it became badly corrupted into superstitious ritual by ignorant men.

Since you're being so pushy with your beleifs, I will answer in a way you can (I hope) understand. That, my dear, is the most stupid theory EVER invented. The idea of someone dying for my sins simply doesn't make sense. If I'm fighting against sin, then *I* am the one fighting it by constantly working on myself. I don't NEED someone to die for my sins. After all, Jesus (pbuh) will have to face God too and answer for his deeds, even though he was of sinless nature ... he will still have to face Him. Notice the difference between *him* and *Him*???

I have victory over Jesus because he isn't real. That makes sin irrelevant even though I don't sin.

Isn't also good to work on avoiding sin and doing what is right within yourself?

No.
"Sin" doesn't exist. If "Jesus" ever existed, he's long dead. Wake up and smell the 21st century, for Christ's sake.
