How do you charge a Rebel XT?

I checked out the rebel from school and it is dead. I was wondering how to charge the battery using other chargers from other Consumer Electronics. Is this possible?

Nope. You need the charger that came with it.

Yes, you need a Canon charger. Your school should be able to order one from just about anywhere using their tax exempt number. Seems to me the quick charger and NB2LH battery was $75.00 (I got one last week ). So don't buy it on your own. Talk to your teacher.

you should only use the correct charger
the battery might blow up
