Certain stones were used for many purposes. A white stone may be given as a sign of acceptance or admittance -like a ticket. You can "get in" with it.

That is in letter Paul wrote to the Angel of the Church of Pergamum
To him who overcomes,I will give some of the hidden manna I will also give him a white stone with a name written on it ,known only to him who receives it.
Manna , means; Any spiritual nourishment of divine origin.
The white stone in those times was like a ribbon or trophy now that we give for achievement.(him who overcomes).
Name in those times was not only , like Paul or Mary or whatever. It also could mean a description of something. Like you are a teacher.
Hope this helps you to understand it better.

In courts of law being given a white stone is thought to represent acquittal in contrast to a black stone which would indicate condemnation.
Manna is the bread from heaven which the world does not know or see which is the present spiritual food of the saints as well as part of their future heritage. It represents fellowship with Christ and Spiritual Strength that is given to those who overcome.

some translators use the observe "amulet," even with the undeniable fact that "stone" is a literal translation. In the two experience, the white amulet/stone is a image of victory and exhilaration. verify Rev 3:4-5 i like "amulet" extra useful than stone because of the fact, having the hidden call, it incredibly is a source of capacity for use via the only given it. See Rev 3:12; 19:12; Isaiah sixty two:2. the hot call has connection with one that has been reborn in Christ and given a sparkling call.

"The promise of God gives … a new name written on a white stone. He means fresh or new in kind. God created each of his children in a special way. The Creator builds each person as a one-of-a-kind model. The Almighty Creator does not copy parts from one person to make another person."

your in trouble...I'm just not sure...I know they did use stones like this back then...Thats where the term "black ball" comes from...
