I have something that I know that God doesn't approve of. Do you think that I should throw it away, burn it, or sell it? And if I sell it then should I keep the money or give it to God? (the thing I have is really bad...)

Throw it away. Why sell it and lead someone into something that God does not approve of?

Why would God want the money you get from selling this bad thing? If it's so bad why would God want you to give it to someone else so THEY now have this bad thing? Throw it away, then you do not insult Him, nor do you pass on this bad thing to someone else.

Without knowing what it is, it is hard to say what to do with it. If you truly think that it is bad, then it doesn't really matter much what the item is. You feel convicted to get rid of it. Simply do that. Toss it away and remove it from your life. If it is something that you think you need to ask for God's forgiveness about, then pray about that. Ask God to give you peace from the guilt about having the item in the first place. Ask him to help you to move past it. Get rid of just by tossing it away in the trash. If you think about it, simply pray to God about it or focus on his word in some way. If you sell it, then in a way, you are seeking to profit off of it. If you believe that it is wrong, then giving it to someone else will cause them to be hindered in their relationship with God. If you think it is bad, do not just protect yourself from it, do it for others as well. Don't sell it.

Sell it and give God the money

If you came into possession of this object in an innocent fashion then getting rid of it can only be your first priority. If you can sell it then why give the money to god (or rather your church) when the object was, in fact, your's to sell and earn on. Give your soul to God, don't try to buy his love.

Burn it. God does not need or want the proceeds, neither do you. A clear conscience will taste much better than a few coins.

You are to be commended for asking the question.

Sounds intriguing.

I say keep it, and find a Christian denomination that believes what you have is OK. You are sure to find one, because of the many flavors and doctrines withing the sect.

Or give it to me, (unless it is an STD) according to God I was created for Hades anyway, and giving me the mysterious item won't hurt.

If YOU know it to be bad, that is all that matters. Now YOU make the decision to BURN it, and I promise not to squeal to God.
