I never did hear what the H is supposed to stand for, maybe - Hell? How about husband? Like in the old days - I mean old testament. Animal husbandry meant you owned and looked after a certain amount of animals. Men considered woman as animals. To the women he owned - he was thier husbandly keeper. Thats where the name for husband came from. Woman were farmed like animals, men were thier "husbandly" owners.

properly, in Greek Jesus is spelled I H S. i might say Jesus H Christ is a changed curse used in the presence of females, like "darn" or "gosh". additionally, Christ is Greek for "Annointed King". in case you study the NT that's constantly Christ Jesus and not any opposite direction around.
