It takes more than not drinking sodas
to lose weight baby, if You are still
pigging out on all the other sweets
and junk food. Stop eating anything
that has sugar, flour, and fat in it, for
example, donuts, cakes, pies, etc.
Sodas are a big part, but not all of it.

You don't mention how long ago you gave up soda...time is another factor. Also, have you been careful not to replace those calories with other empty calories? Do you keep active? It's not just one thing that will do it, it's a matter of adopting a new lifestyle.

It's harder for women to lose weight than it is for men. Only drink water for a while. Exercise and watch what you eat. This will help.
If all else fails, tell your doctor you have a hard time concentrating. He'll presribe adderall, and then when you start taking it, you'll stop eating. PROBLEM SOLVED!

Maybe it's the Big Macs? The trick is diet AND exercise, not "cut out soda and eat more."

i hope you dont think thats the only way to losing weight..... you have to work off all the fat/sugar that you've gained from the soda, stopping it just means that you're not getting as much sugar as you used to.
what you need to do is to start working out. a couple suggestions: powerwalking, biking, hiking, the usual..

When did you stop drinking soda? Do you work out? Did you replace it with something unconsciously?

The soda is fattening. Hmmm - but it could be that there are other factors involved.
Drink water
Eat beans
Exercise
Weight loss will be the result of dietary modification AND a good exercise regime.
You would do well to see your doctor and/or a dietician for relevant personally tailored advice for your situation.
There may also be medical reasons why you haven't lost weight, which your doctor could address.
