Is it true that our constitution states no citizen shall pay any direct tax to the federal government? If so, then why are citizens getting taxes taken out of the paychecks. You never see illegal aliens paying taxes. I know there was a man who challenged this issue in court and had the proof to back this statment and won the case. If anyone knows his name please let me know.

You must be reading tax protester crap.

The income tax is perfectly legal. It always has been and always will be.

No one has ever gotten out of paying their income tax based on some bs theory thought up by tax protesters. A few people have beaten the IRS on criminal charges and kept themselves out of jail but they still had to pay the taxes plus penalties and interest.

No one has ever challenged this issue in court and won the case. Otherwise, none of us would be paying taxes then. This is the same tired anti-tax argument that tax protestors keep trying, and the tax courts keep shooting down. Oh, by the way, if you try this, better have a lot of money in your checkbook to pay the "frivalous argument" fine that the IRS will hit you with.
