I brought Max to this party. Now I am drunk, but he is still sober. Is it OK for him to dive my car?

I've noticed many dogs driving cars, of the two legged variety.
I'm sure Max will do a much better job than you if you're drunk.

Legal answer: NO, the dog would need a drivers license which the dog would be unable to get unless they can pass both the written and driving test. If they have a drivers license then the answer would be yes.

Well it’s just fine. I tried to get him a drivers permit and insurance since he did so well on the written test. But sadly they turned him down. He does just fine driving except when he’s had to much to drink. He forgets to turn the wheel and we’ve had a number of wrecks. But I make sure he’s wearing his set belt. We were never hurt cause he has a hard time seeing out the window and pressing the gas peddle, so most of the time we’re going pretty slow.

My dog can drive better than some idiots I see on the road. He has enough sense to realize danger where most people dont.
