The cause is lack of stimuli, but underlying the lack of stimuli is a lack of imagination.

The cure is to get more imagination.

Interact with people some more. Get out and about and do stuff. Find stuff to do. If you can't, then you're obviously not looking hard enough.

Boredom is the lack of interest or engagement in the activites (or lack of them) going on around you. The cure is to follow the three laws of survival:

1. If you are bored, that means that no one is shooting at you. Boredom can be a good thing.

2. If you are not having a good time, improve your fantasy life!

3. Never forget your equipment was made by the lowest possible bidder. Trust yourself, not your equipment.

If you follow these three laws, you will not only survive, you will have a reasonably good time, thanks to the second law. Hope this helps.

Find your passion. Find what it is that Inspires you! You will never be bored again. This principle is clearly expressed in the wonderful movie "Patch Adams".

Best wishes and good luck.
