No i would not let my kids swim fully clothed, unless we were at the lake beacsue the chlorine in the water of a swimming pool tears down the fibers in the fabric of the clothes and makes them tear apart easier, but the lake water doesnt do any damage.

Yes I would, in fact if and when I have children they'll probably swim fully clothed all the time. I do it myself on a regular basis, and my children (if I have any) will grow up seeing me swim like that regularly so will feel normal doing that as well.

It'll be hard for my kids to swim fully clothes it'll make them uncomfortable to swim in fully clothes. If they're doing sprinkles in the backyard with their fully clothes then i don't mind that's fine me.

yes sure i would why would you want to stop them just let them jump or dive right in if they can swim i would even let them wear their shoes as well .
i have a view that all children should have to learn to swim in thier full clothe once thecan swim with out a swimming aid . and how i would do this is once they can swim with out a swim aid they would have to swim 1 lenght of a pool in awith swim wear on or undar wear and a t shirt once they can do that then they wuld have to swim two length ias above and a pair of trouses or trackee bottams then once the can do that they would have to do three lenghts as above adding a jumper or trackee top on once they can do that then four lenghts as above adding a piar of socks then once they can d that five lengths as above adding their shoes or trainers on then once they can do that they shoul then be allowed to swim in their clothe all the time and despence with the swimwear

Of course we would. But to add interest to the event, why not fill your own pockets with as much lead as you can find, tie an anvil round your neck, get someone to handcuff your hands behind you, look for the deepest part of the canal and then jump in. Hope this helps, the advise is intended to be in response to a stupid question.

The question is WHY? Actually, there are people who have a fetish about getting wet while fully clothed whether it be swimming, showering, etc.

Absolutely, especially since in summer when it's hot, they are usually dressed in shorts and t-shirts anyway - clothes that would not weigh them down. There is no harm especially in lakes and creeks.

All depends on the circumstances. On unusual circumstances, unusual things can be done and make sense / be fun etc.
