It's a beautiful day, the sun is shining, spring is in the air.
Let your hair down, enjoy a few laughs, your God isn't going to care. Live for yourself for just one day, don't be so serious.
Not trying to convert you, I mean no disrespect, but have a little fun. I know you aren't all as serious as the people in this forum would lead us to believe.

Wassupmang...not stereotyping. I said I know that all Christians aren't as serious as some in the forum would lead us to believe. There are many light-hearted Christians here and I've had a lot of fun with them.

Silly...God wants us to let loose and enjoy life, to dance in the sunshine and sing to the stars. Where on earth did you get the idea that Christians do not have fun, rotflmbo.
I even have fun makng fun of you (ooppsss did I say that).
Please realize, just because we are Christians does not mean we are not people who love and laugh and play and live life to the fullest (we also drink occasionally, sneak some weed, listen to rock and roll, watch dirty movies and enjoy the S word). We are people...the only difference between you and me is what we believe.

Weeeelll. I'll just say, maybe you aren't having any fun and are projecting. ( People often do that y'know. ) Actually, nobody is having any fun on the planet right now.
In tthe best of circumstances, for argument's sake, what makes you think we don't have fun? Fun is so limited. Even though I've had and at times do have fun.
How 'bout some joy? Resurgent confidence? Peace? Empathizing with others? You can't have fun if you don't know how to empathize, I heard.
Maybe, ... just maybe ... you've never really met any true believers. Just because a person packs a Bible under their arm doesn't make him a believer anymore than a mouse living in a cookie jar make him a cookie.
Believe me, no offense taken. But maybe your perception could use a little upgrade?
Hope this helps.

final week i ultimately have been given my previous Norton on the line lower back, and could no longer withstand finding out it out on a parkway front ramp. I have been given on it especially sturdy, and merged onto the parkway at approximately seventy 5, appeared in my mirror and observed that there grow to be a cop some million/4mi lower back. I in basic terms saved questioning that if I were on a swifter bike I probable might have been doing a minimum of ninety, and can have been identifying on the bike up from an impound lot day after right this moment. i've got envied game bike riders some situations as quickly as I see what they might do on some twisty roads, yet i don't get the urge to holiday that rapid oftentimes adequate to warrent paying for one.

Without a sense of humor this site would be very depressing. GOD did not say to be a Christian one must wear a long face, wring our hands and be moan the world. We have fun. I enjoy a good stand up comedian, who does not have a potty mouth. As a Correctional Officer for 15 years it was my sense of humor that deescalated many heated situations. Example: A day room with 50 offenders sitting at tables playing cards, or dominoes or watching TV, one group is excessively noisy making TV hard for the others to hear. So I went to the table where they were slamming the dominoes and loud and told them to play the game without slamming the dominoes and to quieten down so the others could watch TV. I also told them if they failed to play quietly I would be back and their game would be over and I would bid them good night as they would be leaving the day room for the night. Obviously they were not happy so after I got about 10 feet from their table I turned around and said "remember gentlemen that witch starts with a W" everyone laughed and the tension was gone and they quieted down.

I have fun. Usually I'm not serious. I have a lot of fun, just because I believe in God doesn't change that.
I know we may sound serious on here, but that's because this is on the topic of religion. Religions not a funny thing. And plus you can't really tell the tone of my voice when I'm talking.
Lol, have a nice day. I appreciate the concern, though.
Thanks for the wake up call, too. I need to get some fresh air. Being cramped up on the computer for an hour doesn't due it for me.

LOL, how do you imagine Christians live? I personally think at least a half dozen genuine belly laughs a day are required for good health.
As for sunny days, we spend a couple of hours nearly every nice day of the year outside - canoeing, tracking down some wildlife to photograph, or just sunning and strolling in the park.
Boy, I can't wait 'til we retire and can really have some fun!

I love life, I live it to the fullest each day. When you say let your hair down, doe's it have to include drinking or smoking, or any type of mind altering drugs? If not, then I am in. We are constantly in Praise mode at our house, in the car, at the store, we joke around, dance, sing, tell silly jokes, wear outrageous clothes, have huge parties. We have live bands at our house. Most of my friends would probrably scare most of you just with their appearance. but they are on fire for Christ!
Life is good in this Christian Household!
My kids participate in everything, I sing on stage every week in front of thousands of people. (Rock star for Jesus!) There is not a day that goes by that we allow our Joy to be stolen.
So, yes, we feel the urge, and we truly live!
There is nothing like the rush of leading someone through salvation... you should give that a try some time!

Oh gosh, take my hair out of the bun from under my wimple? Absorb some vitamin D? Maybe ride a bike? Oh the sheer hedonism of it! I don't know if I can handle it! :)
Actually I just finally got back home after a Easter vacation that went much longer than it should have. I'm just gonna curl up in my own bed, cuddle with my cat, and finish a book. Life really is good.

I'm a fundamentalist Christian. I'm working on a half-pipe in my backyard today. It's too windy for surfing. I went for a walk with my wife and had a hamburger. It's a beautiful day.
I think your question is telling of some stereotypes you hold about Christians. I have laughs all the time, and God does care, he wants us to laugh and enjoy the day he has made.

It's sad that this is the impression that Christianity gives. I was a slave to sin for many years and it wasn't until I came to Christ that I could really "cut loose".
Not all, but a lot of Christians go around looking like they suck on lemons constantly. Jesus freed us from bondage, and I'm sorry that you have gotten that impression from us...
Just remember that there is no "cookie cutter" image of what a christian is. We are all different, so if one brings you down remember not all of us are like that!
You have a good weekend also!
