I misplaced my registration and I need proof for insurance.

Go to the DMV and request a copy of the registration, you are required to have it in the vehicle at all times anyway. It will save you a ticket.

get a duplicate registration from the DMV. Your registration doesn't prove that you are the owner, you need the title for the vehicle.

Go to the DMV and get a copy. They will already have you in their computer as the owner, so you will need to have an ID, There is usually a fee to get the replacement document, but doesn't cost too much.

I would get your serial ID number from the windshield and take it to the tags and registration dept in your local town, or you could take it to the DMV. Dept of motor vehicles.

The title will show proof, if you dont have the title contact the secretary of state and apply for a new one

Go to your license bureau and get a duplicate. Take an insurance card with the VIN on it.

go to the dmv and tell them that you misplaced it plus they willknow that you are the owner do to your drivers licenses
