Claiming does not qualify! A christian is both a believer and follower of Jesus Christ! Christ commanded Christians to LOVE one another!

Saying, "I'm a christian", is meaningless unless
one is striving, with all their heart, to live as Christ Has called Christians to live!

Why do so many have so many negative things to say about Christ? His whole entire existence was helping others and preaching love!

The world did not love in His time, it does not Love now! No person should be attacking any other person! Whom did Christ attack?

If you are talking about those on Yahoo - you have to remember that you are hearing from people of all different age groups and different intellects . Some have been Christians a long time some are new Christians. Some have been brought up in a Christian household and go to church but have never really come into a living relationship with Christ yet. Some read their bible continuously and have better knowledge of it's content. Some have read bits, some a long time ago, some never at all and just assume to know. God knows the Christians, they're just at different levels of understanding.

They do not... Only God and the individual know for sure... being a True Christian has nothing to do with any "denomination" or "sect"... it is a personal relationship between God and the individual...
Here is a link to a page on my website called Who is a Christian, for more on the subject.

If they go against anything that the Bible says, yes people are going to defend it. Because we Christians believe in if you love God you would help to keep his flock together as it says in the bible. That is what God ask for, and wants us to do, but not in a violent or bashful way. That's when I gotta say some people take it too far. God doesn't want force people into believing Him, because it is your choice.

Who is attacking Christians? I see many people here not share their faith, but I see few attacks, if any.

"yet we are loose from ceremonial works. it form of feels the LDS are doing ceremonial works that could desire to be comparable to Jews insisting on gentiles being circumcised, or abstaining from meat or washing ceremonially before nutrients. those are outward warning signs that Christ and his apostles made sparkling have been not necessary. Your suggestions?" If this have been the case, then we could desire to continually throw baptism and the present of the Holy Ghost out of the image. whether, even Christ himself declared that "different than a guy be born of water and of the Spirit, he won't be able to enter into the dominion of God." (John 3:5) Christ and his followers have been covenant-making human beings. Heck, the the covenant that the apostles made with him required them to leave each and every thing and stick to him. regularly are covenants made by way of ceremonies, including baptism. btw - specific on all of those questions.

I ask them a simple question: "Are you baptized?" If they are, then they are Christian. Christianity is nothing we do on our own...it is a work of God and is a gift of His Grace. (Eph. 2:8-9)

By their works. A good tree doesn’t produce rotten fruit. And a rotten Tree cannot produce fine fruit.
