....currently in limbo into heaven? And will some kind of compensation be allotted to the parents and families (those who are still alive) who have spent their lives grieving about those poor babies who weren't allowed into heaven because they weren't baptized? And who among you will finally realize what a cruel practical joke has been perpetrated on Catholics by their Holy Eminences all these years concerning limbo, not eating meat on Fridays, collection plates, and the entire organized religion scene?
I hear it will be "big hat " day at Wrigley Field next week. Do you think the Pope will attend?

The cracks in the edifice of the Vatican are starting to appear.

The rot of centuries of evil, war, greed, blasphemy against God and every moral code have taken their toll.

People are finally starting to see the truth that the Catholic Church has nothing to do with the word of jesus, of respecting jesus or the word of God. They have been "making things up" for centuries (eg the whole Mary worship cult over the past one hundred years).

Even so, the Vatican is still a powerful forces and many of its most fanatical followers still refuse to see with their eyes and hear with their ears the truth of what this organization has done over 2,000 years

Hopefully, the limbo example will show Catholics around the world it is time to consider other forms of christianity- to end their allegience to the Pope and to finally embrace the true word of Jesus.

God decides who goes to heaven.

I would have thought people would appreciate that the Church would not just say "yes" or "no" without any biblical basis.

The whole issue with the suggestion of Limbo is that God did not tell us what happened to unbaptized babies when they die.

Jesus said, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to the whole creation. He who believes and is baptized will be saved." (Mark 16:15-16)

For centuries, people have wondered about children who died before they were baptized. The Bible does not explicitly state that they will go to heaven.

Limbo was suggested as the place where unbaptized babies went when they died. This idea was never official Church doctrine and has been rejected.

The Church now says that it is not sure what happens to unbaptized babies when they die but she entrusts them to the mercy of God.

With love in Christ.

You are a fool.

The Church doesn't decide who goes to heaven and who doesn't. God does, and the Church has always taught that.

There was always a QUESTION on what happened to children who died before baptsm. The THEORY the Church had was that they lived in a state of perfect happiness. They were not deserving of hell, and our God is merciful as well as just, so the idea of limbo was a n attempt to reconcile our knowledge of our merciful God with the knowledge that anyone who bears the stain of sin cannot enter heaven.

We still don't really know since it not revealed it scripture, and the Church acknowledges that.

All babies and children will enter Heaven. When they reach the age of accountablility, then they will be responsible for their own souls, and may accept Christ to enter Heaven. The age of accountability is different for everyone. When you reach the age that you truly know right from wrong and know that you need salvation, that is the age of accountability. The Holy Spirit will touch your heart and make you aware of the need for salvation. You can listen or you can ignore. It's your choice.

the babies may enter Heaven, but I wouldn't be so sure about your soul.
