So why would you trust the "new" version when they just acknowledged that their centuries-old claims were b.s.? Isn't it just as likely that the "new" idea will be "revised" in another hundred years?
Ridiculous, people. Every bit of it. Are you really going to nod your head every time somebody makes something up?

The Catholic Church has never claimed to have all the answers. There are many mysteries in Christianity.

One of these mysteries lies in the statement of Jesus Christ, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to the whole creation. He who believes and is baptized will be saved." (Mark 16:15-16)

For centuries, people have wondered about children who died before they were baptized. It may be true that unbaptized babies go to heaven but we cannot be sure because the Bible does not reveal this answer to us.

Limbo was suggested as the place where unbaptized babies went when they died. This idea was never official Church doctrine.

The Church has pondered the suggestion of Limbo for a few hundred years and has decided that it does not fall into the entire picture of God's loving plan of salvation as depicted in the Bible.

The Church now says that it is not sure what happens to unbaptized babies when they die but she entrusts them to the mercy of God.

I would think people would appreciate that the Church does not declare unbiblical things as doctrine without very serious thought and prayer.

With love in Christ.

super question and dazzling scripture to help it. of course they're going to in no way end publishing the literature, not till Armageddon. in the event that they stopped interpreting their books and in basic terms used the Bible, thousands and thousands might probably go away and the Governing physique could not have that, would desire to they? for people who mentioned that JW's do study the Bible and basically use their books to help it, what utter nonsense. while an involved guy or woman starts a so called religious study he reads the somewhat some chapters of the main recent 'study help', at present a e book called 'What does the Bible somewhat coach', or 'coach e book' for short. The Bible is barely used to help the instructions of the society, and, subsequently they 'cherry %. remoted scriptures that seem to 'coach' they're excellent. So, case in point, in the event that they're observing Jesus, they % scriptures that seem to disclaim his deity yet heavily ward off relating persons that coach it. on the tip of each and every study section there are questions, the solutions to that are all in the passages in basic terms examine. the pupil is expected to apply the given solutions, if he does so he's congratulated and made to experience somewhat clever as a results of fact he has chanced on 'a bible reality' all on his very own. If he solutions otherwise then he has not somewhat 'seen the fact' and is gently brainwashed some greater till he does. how in the worldwide can that be called a study of the Bible? some JW's might element out that additionally they study the Bible, one e book at a time, yet even this is done under education employing yet yet another booklet to make confident that they don't hit upon something that nicely-knownshows the lies.

No, not really. Just says to me that the Church is re-evaluating something based on a more indepth understanding of the faith.

The Church 1500 years ago didn't have a lot of the problems we have today, so we are simply looking at things again.

Does the fact that someone drives a Ford for years then switches over to a Toyota indicate they were clueless to the fact that a Ford is a lousy car? (no offense to those who drive a Ford, it was just an example.)

Every time Science "revises" something, doesn't it just reveal that scientists were clueless beforehand?

So why would you trust the "new" theory when they just acknowledged that their centuries-old theories were b.s.? Isn't it just as likely that the "new" theory will be "revised" in another hundred years?

Ridiculous, people. Every bit of it. Are you really going to nod your head every time somebody makes something up?

Careful there. Sounds to me like a double standard. Science revises itself all the time.

For centuries, people have wondered about children who died before they were baptized. It may be true that unbaptized babies go to heaven but we cannot be sure because the Bible does not reveal this answer to us.

"But our Lord Himself said (John 3:5): 'Unless a man be born again of water and the Holy Ghost, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.' Consequently it became necessary to baptize children, that, as in birth they incurred damnation through Adam so in a second birth they might obtain salvation through Christ. Moreover it was fitting that children should receive Baptism, in order that being reared from childhood in things pertaining to the Christian mode of life, they may the more easily persevere therein; according to Prov. 22:5: "A young man according to his way, even when he is old, he will not depart from it." - St. Thomas Aquinas ("Summa Theologica" 13th century A.D

Of course they will. Because the revision will make them happy. They can eat meat on Fridays now. That's a good thing. All the babies in limbo will get into Heaven now. That's a good thing. Except that all along, those of us who live in reality, and refuse mind control, have known that it's all a hoax. The babies who died before being baptized simply died, unfortunately, but so did the old timers who died of old age, and everyone in between who died of some disease, or in a car wreck or plane crash, etc. But it hasn't been the Catholic church which has been clueless(they've been very clever)--it's been the poor, weakminded people who have fallen for all that crap who have been clueless. Forgiveness is big among them, and forgive they will, for they know not what they do.

What have they revised? Why aren't you taking aim at versions of the bible?

The last book, Revelation, says, "This is the word of God, nothing shall be added and nothing shall be taken away!

Currently, in America, there is the NEW AMERICAN Bible????????????????

Why is it that Bibles printed by two different printer/publishers do not read the same, word for word?

I agree, partly. While religious beliefs SHOULD be the same throughout time, oftentimes things become clearer with time, so adjustments need to be made. But I agree that the Catholic church is all about image, and not about what it should be about. Why exactly would the pope BLESS the armies, when the Bible commands not to kill? It doesn't say 'unless it's for war'. It just says not to. Hypocrisy.

they do this because the catholic religion is actually a satanic religion...

Confession= they tell a MAN their sins and he gives them a punishment....didnt Jesus die for everyones sins so you would not have to be punished?

Saints= Thou shall have no other gods before me....yet they pray to saints, wear jewlrey of images of saints, and set up shrines for saints

You must remember that this is the same religion that a few hundred years ago was charging people money to make sure that their dead family member went to heaven.....because the pope has the keys to the gates I guess
