You have spiritually hurt them and done great harm to yourself. There is no law against love because God is love. Hate is the antithesis of love, meaning it is the complete absence of love. Where there is no light there can be only darkness. Where there is only darkness God is absent. God is the sustaining force of all life; therefore, without God there is no life. Hate precedes death and love is life itself. I hope that you understand what i am trying to get across to you. I know that you are asking these question out of curiosity and that is good. God bless you. Jesus loves you.

Hate is such a harsh word. You can hurt them mentally which can have a physical effect. People have feelings, even if they are hateful to you. Its better to say I dislike their ways. Understand with hatred in your heart you cannot enter the Kingdom of Heaven. I would not give up my eternity for someone I can not stand. Walk away or turn the other cheek. Understand hatred can cause stress. You don't need that. Forgive and be the bigger person.

Every thought has energy, energy is alive and real. If you hate someone you are sending negative energy to that person and possibly doing harm.
(For all you Christians, just look in the Bible... "if you lust in your heart..." Same thing)
More importantly, as many people have said, it IS doing you harm. It hurts you the most, all those negative feelings building up inside.
Let it go, it may be hard, but avoid that person as much as you can and ignore the rest.

'Tis just mean and wrong in spirit. Unless your hate of them causes them physical pain, which can happen, it's called stress. Although, I suppose what they have done to cause your hate has bearing on the situation as well. I try not to hate, personally.

When you hate somebody you harm yourself. Hates grows and festers in the mind and when you allow a little, pretty soon it takes over your whole being.

You are physically and mentally hurting yourself. Hate will fester and grow in a person until it will consume them.
