I am 60 and never had heartburn. Lately I've been getting it after eating candy with nuts or just plain nuts? Is this heartburn, or could it be the beginning of something else?

Nuts have a high content of fat. Fat is associated with heartburn. So it could be the nuts that are giving you the heart burn. To be on the safe side you should see your medical doctor and have a complete checkup.

Well, a huge reason for your heartburn is during the third trimester, your stomach is compressed by your growing uterus. This can cause stomach acid to be pushed up to your esophagus. What I mean is, it might not matter what you eat.

I am in my 50's and I don't have that problem. You might want to talk to your doctor about this.
