If I had proof what would happen to faith? Faith and proof can't coexist. So I have faith supported by evidence both scientific and Biblical that God is there, that He loves us, that He has made it possible to share eternity with Him... Jim

Okay. Here's a double standard for ya, "Prove God is not real." And I want physical evidence.
Keep in mind that lack of evidence is circumstantial.
Ask a medical doctor how the human body works. Ask a veterinarian how the biology of animals work. Then, ask them if they believe that God exists. They have studied the intricacies of biological forms and they will use their findings as evidence that there is a God. Nothing so complex could have been created on it's own. If we came from apes then, where did the first ape come from? If the earth was formed by various balls of gas and rocks then, where did the first ball of gas and the first rock come from? It had to come from somewhere. Your lack of belief in God has holes. Your lack of faith is not sound. You are hereby deemed, illogical - illogical, error, error, does not compute.
EDIT: Your faith/proof concept is illogical. For there are many who have faith and do believe because they have proof. Because they have seen what is unexplainable, because they have seen the impossible made real, because they have seen miracles, angels, etc. This is their proof and their reasoning for faith. Even Einstien was an Atheist and yet, the more he studied light and the speed of light, the closer he came to understanding what God is and Einstein, from that time on, had faith. Einstein's conclusion: The faster light travels, the more time slows until it stops. (This is why God is eternal and exists eternally. This is why there is no time where God is). Also, if the speed of light is travelling fast enough, we and all objects in that speed become invisible. (This is why God and Heaven and His angels are invisible).

ADJECTIVE:
1.a. Being or occurring in fact or actuality; having verifiable
existence: real objects; a real illness.
b.True and actual; not imaginary, alleged, or ideal: real
people, not ghosts; a film based on real life.
c.Of or founded on practical matters and concerns: a recent
graduate experiencing the real world for the first time.
2. Genuine and authentic; not artificial or spurious: real mink; real humility.
3. Being no less than what is stated; worthy of the name: a real friend.
By these definitions, god isn't real. Belief is a matter of faith, if any god or gods are real, then there is no faith.

I wish more people would ask this question.
At a young age I remember being amazed that adults can make babies. Then as I got older I realized that adults actually do not posses the true knowledge of doing so. In other words the women doesn’t know how to sit down and say “ ok, In order for this to work I need so many x chromosomes + proteins” etc. Although she may have got herself pregnant, the body does the intricate work itself. And when a scientist looks at the DNA strands, they begin to notice these are not coincidently put together, but appear to be much like blue prints, blue prints of a design. This type of thinking of natural things all around us, the birds, the ants plants etc. Everything works so perfectly, that it seems illogical that so much wisdom came from nothing. Nothing as in before the big explosions, that scientist say Is the big bang theory. Then when reading the bible it all made more and more sense to me..

god is real because look at the world and the state that it is in, look at yourself your a living walking miracle, the bible is real because you can look at the people that are mentioned in the bible, and thousands of years later we are still doing the same thing. if the world would truly put the word of god into effect we would be a nicer, kinder, gentler society. but as the word of god says the devil knows he has a little time left so he is about his business which is to steal kill and destroy. the word of god says my people perish for a lack of knowledge. so i look at society and i see as long as the devil keeps us from god and our true calling. many are called but only a few will choose to live for god. that's why i know hes real. as long as man has a free will we are all called to know god and live for him but only a few will truly rise to the occasion and seek and find god.

I noticed that many people answered by saying that there has to be something out there. Why does there "have" to be something out there exactly? The Universe doesn't owe you a meaning of life! In my opinion, people believe in god because it's easier than actually going out and learning.

I looked down and asked my heart if God has a massage in there for me, and my heart said Yes. When I got that message, and found a bible, the same scripture was there.

The bible is proof god is real just like marvel comics are proof spider-man is real.
Nobody can prove any gods, much less a specific god, exist; many people will tell you their god exists but no others, but will never be able to prove it, even if they think so. Some will threaten you with eternal pain or promise eternal joy to get you to believe in their god; these are all stories, created for people who were scared long before we understood the universe. Now we have no more reason for these superstitions.
