I'm not sure I understand the question.

They all know the "Our Father." So it's a fair bet that they know God is their Universal Daddy.

Do you mean why do they object to calling certain concecrated men "father?"

It's a misinterpretation of something Jesus said.

"Call no man father for your father is in heaven."

It specifically says NO man. So that would include the biological father if they were to take it literally. Which they don't. They only use it to bash the Catholics and Anglicans.

The same section also says call no man leader and call no man teacher. They have no problem with either of those.

Call no man leader would also implicate the term "pastor" using their logic. Because a pastor is the "leader" of a congregation.

Well that just shows how much you really don't know about fundamentalists or most Christians.

Your question is so general how can we answer you?

My Father is The Father of our LORD Jesus Christ. The maker of Heaven and Earth, The LORD God Almighty.

One God in three persons. I pray to the Father (the Almighty), through the Holy Spirit (the person who reveals the power), in the Son's Name (whose sacrifice enables reunion between me and my maker). Three different functions, and work but the same in Will, Purpose and Essence.

My friend, It comes from Jesus calling God, Abba, Father.

Jesus in Matthew 6:9-13 and Luke 11:2-4 taught, when He was asked, His disciples to pray as such:

Our Father, Who art in heaven
Hallowed be Thy Name;
Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen

Namaste

Always with,

Peace and Love

Each one of us has a biological father and we have a common Father in heaven.

They're odd. TOo much Protestants say that Catholics call priest's father without mentioning what they call their biological father. "Dad, Pops, Poppa" All the same as father, just stupid another excuse of Protestants.

Do you mean because they end a prayer "In Jesus' name?"

The Trinity is one god, Elohim, consisting of three beings. Christians say "In Jesus' name," to show respect for his death on the cross, an afirmation.
