My confidence is really low, and I just have an extremely tough time talking to girls; I don't know what to say, or what to joke around with them about? Is it alright for me to send someone to tell the girl that I like her?

You need to build your confidence first. Having confidence in yourself will show outwardly and girls will be more attracted to you in the long run. Keep in mind confidence shouldn't be confused with arrogance. If you send someone else to tell a girl you like her, she may think "what's wrong with me (or the guy) that he can't tell me himself." As far as what to say or do or joke about, just be yourself. Don't be what you think someone else wants you to be, because even though you might think it will make them happy, it won't. You won't be happy with yourself being something you're not, and in the end it will show. Good luck.

I'm not sure why you didn't just wait until you were in person to say something. Love makes us do silly things. You have already opened the can of worms, so you may as well spill it now. You should tell her that you like her and that tomorrow you'd like to talk more about it in person... At least you'll know where you stand!

Sending someone sometimes shows how low your confidence is, especially if they know you sent that person just try light conversation even just saying hey think about how much you like her when you say it and that will shine through.Trust me i'm really shy when it comes to talking to guys but I can always tell when they like me.

absolutely not unless you are in my daughters second grade class. You need to be a man. Telling her upfront might come later, try asking her for her number, Talk on the phone a little ask her out. Be confident, women love that. Take control you only live once, don't let opportunity pass. She may be the one.

Yeah it's alright, if you're in grade school!

If you don't have the confidence to do it then you're not ready to have a girl friend. I think it's sad to have someone else do it.

If you can't talk to her in person then ask for her email or AIM. Start off slow!

Females like a man with confidence, and if you like her, you need to tell her yourself. It looks really lame and childish when you send someone else to do the talking for you.

No, that's foolishness. What will you do then? You'll still be shy, and won't know what to say. Your go-between can't keep a conversation going for you. Never mind the Cyrano de Bergerac/Roxanne stuff. Just start by saying "Hi" to her. Next time, ask her how she's doing. Keep having mini-conversations until you feel more comfortable talking to her yourself.

even though your not confident, you should just try and go up to the girl and tell her yourself. and if you cant do it right now..then give yourself some time. its easier than you think. just talk to her and tell you have feelings. once you start it'll just flow. you can't ever talk to girls or get girls by having someone else speak for you. just try and you'll learn and get better.

My experience has been when I sent a messenger to tell some girl that I liked her that she ended up going out with the messenger and not me. It is better to try than to give into the fear of rejection.

Don't tell her that you like her before you're ready. If you get someone to say you like her for you, she won't ever like you back. Go tell her you like her yourself, after building a friendship with her. If she doesn't like you back, it's her loss and there are several other girls you can choose from.
