If you made over the lower limit to be required to file - $5150 if you're claimed as a dependent, and you don't have any 1099 income - then you have to file. You'll calculate tax owed on your return - if you owe any, then you have to pay. If you made over $5150 you probably owe something, if you made less, then you don't. If you owe and had anything withheld, they'll take it out of your withholding, and refund the rest to you.

Being under 18 has nothing to do with whether you owe taxes, it's how much money you made.

As both Judy and bostonianinmo said, If you made enough to be required to file, you almost certainly have a tax liability. If you had sufficient withholding. you won't actually have to write a check to the IRS. Your age is only a factor is determining that your parents can claim you as a dependent so you can't claim a personal exemption. That reduces the required filing threshold by the amount of the exemption.

Both, if you earn more than the filing requirement amount. That would generally be $5,150 per year if you are claimed as a dependent by your parents. If you had $400 or more in self-employment income you'd have to file and pay. Ditto if you had more than $300 in unearned income.

Liability for income taxes is not based upon age but upon your income. There are infants who have to file tax returns and pay taxes. Of course that's handled by their parents, but the infant's name is on the tax return.
