The grill would be memorable....if you want to be more meaningful have a plate laminated with his name on it.''TEDS Grill''. It might sound Korny, but it's been a long 9 months for both of you. It's ok to get something that does not seem for an appropirate occassion. It's a gift.... a gift he will always remember and always use.

Get him a "T" shirt with a picture of him and your daughter on it. Under the picture have the inscription.... "Worlds greatest Dad & his Angel" Or "His #1 Daughter". I'll bet he will treasure that shirt for life. Or, if he has a desk job, get him a picture frame that says "Love" with a picture of him and your daughter for his desk. Besides a gift. You can treat him to a full day of no "Honey Do" chores around the house, or yard work. Just a fun day watching what ever he enjoys on T.V. like Sports or Western Movies. Order his favorite Pizza and Beverage to go with the lounging around and watching T.V.

I bought my husband a leather recliner for his first father's day. He loves it and every time he sits in it he's reminded of how much we appreciate him. It's also the favorite spot for daddy and daughter to cuddle.

A hat reading, "[Name]'s Dad." Some malls have hat kiosks, such as at the Prudential Ctr Mall in Boston. I'll bet an on-line search for "custom hats" or "one-time hat" will generate good leads

well this is what I did for my hubbys first fathers day, we (my son and I) went to our local craft store (hobbylobby) and we got this kit. it was 2 picture frames joined together on the sides and on one side I put a pic of him and our son together and on the other side (this is where the whole "kit" thing comes in) it had a holder for a clay molding of our sons handprints. It was really easy to do too! just rolled the clay out and did his handprints and then baked it for like 10 minutes to set it in and it was done. My big ole macho man of a husband was brought to tears, he absolutly loves it!

Look online for "fathers day gifts". You should be able to find this picture/poem kit. It has a spot for 2 photos, and there is a poem about being a dad. I put one of my fiance when he was littleand his dad, and one of my fiance and our son. he is 6'6" and a very masculine guy, and he got choked up.

I made mine a t-shirt with iron on letters that said Worlds Greatest Dad. Otherwise the digital photo stuff at Kodakgallery.com or anyof them is fun too.

A cuddle or you could use clay or salt dough and put your daughters hands and feet into it. Paint it and put for the worlds greatest dad!
