Meow Mix and any other grocery sold brands are not that healthy for your cat. Get high quality food from a pet store.
Some of the best kinds are:
Natura Innova EVO, Wellness, Felidae, Eagle Pack Holistic Select, Holistic Blend, Orijen, Petcurean Go! Natural, Petcurean Foundations, Petcurean Summit, Natura California Natural, Natura Innova, by Nature, Nutram, Nature’s Variety.
Check out their websites to see if they are available at a store near you. Look for foods with high meat content, low grains or grain-free.
Avoid foods with by-products and chemical preservatives. Don't buy cat food from the grocery store unless it comes from the organic section, otherwise you are surely getting crappy food. Buy from a pet store that sells premium food.
Canned is best, but if your cat doesn't like canned that much or you can't afford an all canned diet, feed a bit of canned and add water to it a couple times per day, put it in the fridge after 30 min though so it doesn't go bad. A can should last a few days or longer. Then leave dry food out all day.

Since Meow Mix is NOT on the petfood recall list, I would suspect possibly a hairball. Give her a hairball remedy you can find at the pet store. If it persists or you see other problems, like moping around and being super lazy or if she has diarhea, then take her to the vet immediately. Also, maybe you feed her too much? Usually cats will only eat what they can hold, but not always. Maybe there is something in the food that her system does not like. Sounds like it happens often, so my first thought is hairball, my second is to see a vet.

Meow Mix is part of the pet food recall (pet food nationwide is poisoned in case you didnt know) and I also agree with another person who answered--it's a very cheap, very bad food for your cat. So, your cat could be poisoned or it could just hate the food.
Your better off feeding it raw food or going to evangersdogfood.com and getting their wet food.

It just disagrees with her. One of my cats eats Archetype, but the other one blows chunks if she tries it. Go figure.
MM isn't a very good brand, and may even be the worst of the supermarket brands for all I know. And that's saying something!
I recommend learning about raw feeding, or at the very least, start feeding one of the better canned foods. See the What to feed list for suggestions.
And don't worry about the teeth - dry food doesn't, never had and never will clean a cat's teeth.

Meow Mix has alot of food coloring in it.
She may also be allergic to one of the ingredients.
Purina makes some good dry cat food-- she may also benefit by having some WET cat food -- Fancy Feast (smooth- without wheat gluten) is a good wet cat food.
Cats do not drink very much water, as they are descended from Desert Animals who get their water from their prey-- I DO NOT suggest feeding her mice-- mice harbor disease and germs and some of them have eaten mouse poison, which can kill the vcat (or dog).
So try a little wet food like Fancy Feast smooth and maybe give her also the Purina Dry Food (O.N.E. or Indoor cat food)-- it is better than Meow Mix.

I would recommend giving her a better quality diet. Seems like she has a sensitive stomach. My cats love Purina Naturals or Purina One Chicken and Rice. Perhaps the hairball formula, as this could be a cause for her problem. Both are available in super markets.

Why would you keep feeding her the meow mix, if she throws up? Change her food to a better one like innova cat food!

Take her to the vet and have her checked out. Feed her regular human grade canned chicken and see if she has the same problem. It could be food allergies or something worse. She may be suffering from FIV. Feline immune virus. Or check the food list for menu foods it could be contaminated food that she may have eaten and you don't know it.

I don't know what would cause it but you should probably stop feeding it to her. I only feed my cats Royal Canin dry food...it was recommended by the breeder. Never had problems with it and they love it

Don't feed her meow mix wet food. Switch foods. An exclusive diet of wet food really isn't the best for cats anyway. They need the crunchy food also, for their teeth....the crunch helps with tartar.
