game playing never works - he's only joining in the game you started.

I think it's partly your fault. Ignoring his calls, saying you were out etc is game playing. You should just tell him straight what it is you want and if he can't give it to you move on. I'm assuming that this business of not seeming too keen is a way of making sure you don't get hurt if he's not all that keen. You'll get hurt even more cause your game playing has already caused him to switch off his phone and that's not what you want.So just tell him what you want, you might be surprised-he wouldn't talk to you everyday if he didn't like you.

He might have someone else and that may be why he is playing games.

Once you start to do these things, usually the relationship is over!

I would start to build a life for yourself and leave your chap alone and hope that he misses you.

Phone him if you must , but it is the man who loves the thrill of the chase so why don't you let him be a man?

So chill for a while and see how it goes. Hard to do - I know -we have all been there, but you seem to be prolonging the inevitable.

From what you said, you have both been playing games with each other. There doesn't seem to be any point in continuing contact with each other, better to end it now, and move on, instead of continuing on and being hurt even more. Breaking up is hard, but holding on to a deadend relationship is harder.

men don't play games. we don't know how and we don't understand when you do. but we are rubbish at talking on the phone. we couldn't sit in front of someone and have a conversation if its not about whats on tv right now let alone trying to remember anything interesting that happened in our boring job. he probably looks at his phone not knowing when to ring cos he doesn't know what to say when you answer. if you've ignored his calls your the one playing games and he's probably convinced you don't like him anymore. send him a naughty picture message and all we be back on track. were more visual really.

And what was ignoring his calls? That was playing games too, and you don't like it, but you expect him to fall for them, so instead of playing it cool, you can play on your own, because you've screwed it up with your stupid games.

Relationships are built on honesty and maturity, you lack both, maybe when you grow up you'll have more luck.

Well, he figures you are too busy so why waste any more time with you? That is the consequence of the "game" you decided to play with him. Games are no good for anyone. Communication is what you both really need to invest in, if your intention is to make this relationship work.

I've witnessed both men and women doing this. I usually am the first one to give up because stuff like that gets on my nerves. I usually don't let them back only because when I have, the situation got worse; you know?

You are playing games, not him, he's just being a man, grow up and answer your phone before he gets fed up with you and moves on!

But you're playing games too. Perhaps it's time for a clean break?
