Well, if i rejected a guy i would admire him if he took it like a man and maybe even apologised saying he didn't realize that i wasnt interested.

nothing's worse than a guy that loses his temper over rejection. it's ugly, and it makes him look like a fool.

on the other hand apologising makes him seem like a gentleman and maybe even makes a girl's opinion of you higher which might even lead to the kiss he wanted in the first place.

I rejected a man not so long ago and I felt just awful. There was no physical attraction. I knew that on the first date, but figured I would give it another try with a second date. We had a great time together but I just couldn't see myself ever kissing him.

At the end of the second date, he asked for a kiss. He was a true gentleman and I was so disappointed in myself that I didn't feel any attraction because he was such a great guy. I kissed him on the cheek. I could see he was disappointed. Then I told him I just didn't see us developing a relationship, that I didn't feel "that way" about him.

Well his reaction was ugly. He went OFF about how nice guys always finish last, etc. That wasn't the point. I just wasn't attracted to him and did not want to waste his time because all I felt was friendship and he wanted a wife.

I thought being diplomatically truthful was the honorable approach. I have always wondered if I should have handled it differently based on his ugly reaction.

if you go in for a kiss and you get rejected you haven't been paying attention to the persons previous physical or verbal responses.

in other words don't try to kiss unless you feel the closeness. it will be mutual, not an attack or a plea for affection.

well, rejection sometimes is because she is not ready for it. has she said "Dude, I'm not into you" Try to go for words this time, maybe you'll get lucky
