Is it too late to sign up for ROTC your junior year of college? If not, can I still graduate as a Second Lieutenent?

Also, do I attend bootcamp after I graduate from college and the ROTC program, or do I even have to go to bootcamp?

Last thing, which ROTC branch do you think is the best? Explain.

It's not too late but you will behind other Cadets/Midshipmen. What you can do is go to the the ROTC center and speak to the MOI/AMOI (the instructor) and ask about it. You also have the choice of getting commissioned on your own time such as the PLC program through the Marine Corps. Basically you go through OCS on a 2 6 weeks course or 1 10 weeks course for juniors and up. Speak to an OSO (officer selection officer); they're officed at MEPS.

Attendance in OCS occurs during your junior/senior year summer.

What matters is what do you want to do as an officer? If you want to do something you like i.e. pilot, law, medicine, ground, then look into a particular branch. You can't join hoping to be an Infantry officer and join the USN/USAF.

As far as joining, you can. They have ROTC Programs for Master's Students.

You will have to go to Basic after you finish ROTC.

Army is the best. HOOAH!

(Seriously, Army and Marines are the best branches to be officers in. The Navy and AF both have very low promotion rates.)

No. you would be approved to enlist, yet you may not take the incredible 2 years of ROTC till you obligate your self to grow to be a commissioned officer. in case you desire to be enlisted, you would be able to desire to take the 1st 2 years of ROTC, then drop out. a plenty smarter step is to enlist in the Air national look after once you're 17 a million/2t now and get coaching. Then, extreme college and in college, you would be a "weekend warrior" one weekend a month and a pair of weeks in summer season. For complete time college scholars, they are versatile approximately those dates, too. in case you have summer season college or very final tests, the dates may well be adjusted. The Air national look after trains you, pays you, promotes you and grants plenty reward of complete time lively accountability airmen. they oftentimes pay for college besides! I strongly propose you to call your Air national look after recruiter. you would be surprised at what they'll supply you to enlist. And in case you establish to flow lively accountability commonplace Air stress, your look after time counts in direction of pay, advertising and complete provider. you may not lose.

OK, only the last two years of ROTC matter anyway.

But you will need to get approval before the summer.

All ROTC students must sign military commitment papers before their last two years of ROTC.

You will attend ROTC summer camp before your junior year.

It is basicly Basic training and leadership training.

you might be able to drill with them, but you will not be offered a contract.

ROTC Grads do not attend Boot camp or basic training. They are commissioned at graduation.

At this point, your best option is probably trying for OCS after you get your degree, but your acceptance is by no means guarenteed. The Army is currently the only branch where you are pretty much a lock, assuiming you meet all the requirements.
