I think Boo has a tapeworm, or multiple but at this point we don't know. Her spay is set for Wednesday next week, but I don't know if this could be a problem/setback which would be bad as I *think* she's entering her first heat (six months old, so not a shocker.*

I've noticed small, white, bean-shaped pieces in her poo. Could that be a tape-worm? What's the treatment/cost? I can't for the life of me figure where she got it, except maybe from her bad start (i didn't realise this pet-store was like all the others, sue me. I won't do it again).

Thanks for any and all answers.

Tapeworm segments look like little pieces of white rice. The treatment isn't too expensive (it varies depending on weight).

If both of your dogs are positive for fleas, and one was positive for Tapeworm, more than likely the other dog has it, as well. Tapeworm is transmitted by fleas carrying the tapeworm cyst. Dogs can get Tapeworm in two ways: eating the flea that carries the cyst, or eating an infected animal (who is carrying Tapeworm). I'd head back to the vet and have them deworm your other dog, as well. You can always bring a fecal sample with you if you don't want to pay the visit.

Yup, like white rice. Daresay it can vary though, and there are other types of worm shed in the faeces. It doesn't mean she can't be spayed tho, just let the vet know in case she poos some out in theatre! If you tell the vet in advance they will worm her for you while she's there, and send you home with the right stuff for the next dose. Not expensive - about £4 a tablet ,each tablet does 10kg (in England :-) )
