They don't have to pick and choose.
They hate everybody who's not a whitebread middle class suburbanite like them.
Isn't that obvious by the way they behave?
If you're not the right kind of 'chosen people' then you're just not going to get into the exclusive country club they call Heaven.

I do not normally take up for the fundies (fundamentalist Christians) but in this case I will. I am a liberal Christian, some Christians do not like that and I understand that...but one thing we all have in common is that we do NOT HATE anyone (save maybe the devil).

You have made a horrendous assumption that is an afront to all CHRISTIANS as well as to the victims in Virginia. I am not even going to lower myself again to respond to the statement about hating Muslims...

Short answer: no. Cho and everyone else in this world were created in the image of God and I only wish that he could have known the love and peace of God that passes all understanding.
Second, it would be asinine to hate all people of a certain race for the actions of one (or a few) of them. For example, if he had been Caucasian (like the Columbine shooters), should we then hate all Caucasians? (I basically got this argument from Son of Fletch, should anyone recognize it).

I am an Atheist, and my opinion of any Asian has not changed. That poor boy was an autistic person that was never treated for that disorder. It may not have been full out autism, but he did not get the treatment as a child that he needed. PS, I am a '95 VT alumni.

I have seen some very hurtful things, said in this forum and elsewhere, about Koreans. I'm a little worried both for my Aunt, who is Korean, and for my boyfriend, who is not Korean but Taiwanese, but we all know that racists aren't very good at noticing differences like that.

well well....you enjoy doing this don't you?what if i say, i hate Americans because of George Bush??
you shouldn't hate people with generalization like that. A wrong doing of one person does not wreck the good image of the other hundred thousands of people that have nothing to do with it..Just stop it!U'r making me sick..

I don't hate anyone. And anybody who does is not a true Christian because they are far from following Jesus Christ and the example set by Him.
