No enterprise can exist without the blessing of God Himself and the mother church has been in existence for 2000 years and it is still going on till the 2nd coming of Christ himself as a fair judge. Can u possibly if it is not of Christ it will be able to last that LONG? Catholic Church is in unity through out the world.

On the contrary our protestant brethren have continue to divide among themselves and only Satan will be most happy to see the strifle going on among the church. Please don't cite the eg. of Orthodox church as it has left Mother Church.

True thanks for this question. Our church has been around over 2000 years. I think the others persecute us because we have the true path to Christ. We don't believe in murdering babies and birth control. I think those two subjects caused others to leave our faith. When the other denominations have been around as long as us let me know. How precious is it to receive Christ's body and blood daily. We are truly blessed.

Your logic is flawed. A lot of non-Christian insitutions have lasted longer than the catholic church e.g paganism. Does this mean God is blessing them? I think not. Further, the Roman Catholic church has had splits, not just the Orthodox split you allude to but after the Council of Trent there was the split with the Trident rite still being practiced by some (Le Feb). Further, the church you allude to is not the catholic church but the Roman Catholic church which came after the split with the protestant church as a result of Henry VIII. The catholic church simply means 'universal church' which I belive in under the Lordship of Jesus Christ not a pope based on false doctrine. So please get your facts right before lambasting others.

Maybe it's because we don't agree with the virgin, and the saints, and the rosaries, and the holy water, and the crucifixes, and infant baptisms, and the pope being "God on Earth" and all that jazz... because... well... it sayd in the bible you shouldn't do those things... that could be it.

Especially when you say things like "On the contrary our protestant brethren have continue to divide among themselves and only Satan will be most happy to see the strifle going on among the church."

Because, well, there are rifts within the catholic church too.

Nothing on this earth in perfect. And never will be.

It's the relationship yu have with God that is important... not the religion you belong to.... so why do you care so much?

"There are not over a hundred people in the United States who hate the Catholic Church. There are millions, however, who hate what they wrongly believe to be the Catholic Church—which is, of course, quite a different thing.

These millions can hardly be blamed for hating Catholics because Catholics “adore statues;” because they “put the Blessed Mother on the same level with God;” because they “say indulgence is a permission to commit sin;” because the Pope “is a Fascist;” because the Church “is the defender of Capitalism.” If the Church taught or believed any one of these things, it should be hated, but the fact is that the Church does not believe nor teach any one of them. It follows then that the hatred of the millions is directed against error and not against truth. As a matter of fact, if we Catholics believed all of the untruths and lies which were said against the Church, we probably would hate the Church a thousand times more than they do.

If I were not a Catholic, and were looking for the true Church in the world today, I would look for the one Church which did not get along well with the world; in other words, I would look for the Church which the world hates.

My reason for doing this would be, that if Christ is in any one of the churches of the world today, He must still be hated as He was when He was on earth in the flesh. If you would find Christ today, then find the Church that does not get along with the world. Look for the Church that is hated by the world, as Christ was hated by the world. Look for the Church which is accused of being behind the times, as Our Lord was accused of being ignorant and never having learned. Look for the Church which men sneer at as socially inferior, as they sneered at Our Lord because He came from Nazareth. Look for the Church which is accused of having a devil, as Our Lord was accused of being possessed by Beelzebub, the Prince of Devils. Look for the Church which the world rejects because it claims it is infallible, as Pilate rejected Christ because he called Himself the Truth. Look for the Church which amid the confusion of conflicting opinions, its members love as they love Christ, and respect its voice as the very voice of its Founder, and the suspicion will grow, that if the Church is unpopular with the spirit of the world, then it is unworldly, and if it is unworldly, it is other-worldly. Since it is other-worldly, it is infinitely loved and infinitely hated as was Christ Himself. ... the Catholic Church is the only Church existing today which goes back to the time of Christ. History is so very clear on this point, it is curious how many miss its obviousness..."

plenty of things exist without the blessing of God. christians probably attack- which they shouldn't- because the catholic church just makes stuff up and they don't follow the teachings of christ. it was manmade- up 2000 years ago. your protestant brethren may split up but they stay in the bible.

a brilliant form of protestants see the Catholic Church as no longer training authentic Christianity. they think of the Pope, the Church forms and hierarchy are pointless. they have severe issues of the Pope claiming to be God's representative in the international, with a lineage going lower back to Jesus' meant deputy, Saint Peter. Protestants do no longer purchase this, and don't think of it is had to be saved by using Jesus. for a protracted time, Roman Catholics claimed people who did no longer understand the authority of the Pope weren't particularly "Christian". You look biased for the reason which you declare you have on no account seen Catholics attacking different Christians(tell that to protestants in northern eire, or to protestants in areas of jap Africa the place there are super numbers of Catholics) .i've got oftentimes occurring some Roman Catholics who have been very biased against or maybe hateful in the direction of protestants. besides this, many protestants see the Roman Catholic Church as being extra pagan than Christian, with its use of statues, icons, shrines, pagan rituals, and music which seems to violate the Commandment against starting to be or worshiping photographs. The worldliness, greed, corruption and indulgences of the Roman Church is what inspired Luther's reformation. The brutality of the Church, with its Inquisitions, Crusades, persecutions and homicide of folk in basic terms for brazenly disagreeing with Church doctrine additionally inspired many to grow to be protestant Christians. some protestants even disagree with the Roman Church stance against beginning administration, and condoms, and see the persevered pedophile scandal as symptomatic of continuous Roman Catholic Church corruption and secrecy. some jap Orthodox Christians(fairly the Greek Orthodox) are nonetheless disappointed with the Catholic Church for sponsoring a marketing campaign that resulted contained in the sacking of Constantinople by using Christian Crusaders and a great deal weakening the Byzantine Empire contained in the face of a Turkish-Muslim invasion from the east. it is seen as a huge, historic betrayal, and the effects linger to right this moment. i've got continually been involved by using how a variety of of Christians are far extra in touch in belonging to and heavily following the dictates of a few meant guy-made Christian corporation, than in basic terms in basic terms following the Bible in an ecumenical, nondenominational way. No ask your self some critics call this "Churchianity" as a replace of "Christianity". specific, the Catholic Church does do some sturdy.

Why limit it? Why do Christians attack Catholicism (and why vice versa), JW, Islam, Mormon, Baptist, atheist... ?

All have been attacked on R&S in even my limited experience.
