how can i get rid of my shyness so i dont be COMPLETELY shy around my bf whose comin to where i am 2marrow???? my bf geovanny is comin to see me tomarrow & i know im gonna completely shy around him cuz thats how i am around guys. how can i get comfortable real quickly. this is the first time i will ever meet someone like this. im nervous as hell!!!!! Just be yourself. But I don't understand.... You are shy around him, but it's the first time you will meet "someone" like this? Do you even know him?

First of all, take a deep breath!!! Everyone, I'm sure, will suggest you should "just be yourself" which is true, you should, but as a shy person myself I know how completely hard that is, especially around a guy! So, I'll impart some advice I read one time that has really helped me over the years -- in love, work, school, everywhere:
Fake it.
Sounds crazy, right? But it WORKS! You may not be a naturally outgoing person, but just pretend to be. NO ONE will know the difference. I sometimes think "shy me would want to hang out in the corner of this restaurant" so I do the opposite, which would be greet the bartender or start small talking with the waitress. Whatever.
Can't hurt. Just play the part and soon ( I promise!) you'll find you're not just pretending, you're actually being the gregarious, fun one!

Im use to be really really shy, but then i got an attuide like, who cares what people think, and i didnt worry anymore. You dont need to be shy if u dont care what the aftermath would be with being by your bf, suprized you got a bf if your that shy

You can't get rid of shyness, you can only control it. I'm shy. I've been there. Just try and relax and enjoy each moment and know you don't have to come up with clever conversation. Just be there with him and enjoy his presence.

to get rid of being shy to your boyfriend.. you need to talk more to him.. (you gotta get to know his personality . and let yours come out.) .. dont be scared.. some ways to do that is have conversations like about how your day was.. an to lighten things up. watch a stupid movie.. . that you both would laugh to.. .

i'm the same way around my bf but its not bad thing, most guys find it cute. just tell him that you are shy and start up converstation and that should be the trick it help me and me and my bf have been together for 2years now.GOOD LUCK!!!!
