Some people believe that Jesus went to Tibet / India on a journey, studied Buddhism, and brought it back to the middle east. One monastery claims to have Jesus' signature in a visitors book - the time frame would have been correct, but we will never know...

I do not think so. While many of the world's major religions have similarities in their doctrine, for example, the "Golden Rule" (do unto others as you would have them do unto you), prohibition of stealing, etc., these similarities are likely corrollarys of major, organized religions.

Furthermore, I do not know of any ancient texts, including the Bible or the Koran, that suggest Jesus travelled to the Far East via the Silk Road or any other road.

I would not, however, discount the possiblity of Eastern Relgious philosophy (including Confucianism) influencing a nascent Christian religion via visitors from the Far East. According to numerous sources, at least one of the Wise Men who visited Baby Jesus soon after his birth looked like he was from the Far East. Plus he was "Wise" so maybe he had some good ideas that he shared with the good folks of the Middle East.

There have been many attempts to determine if Jesus travelled to India or the far east. However assistant can use by the travels of his twin brother, Judas Khrestus.

A widespread tradition of the East and West maintained that Khrestus died of old age in India. Evidence was found in the writings of it from Ephraem Syrus, Ambrose, Pauline, and St. Jerome and later in Gregory of Tours and others. Gregory of Nazianzuz held that Judus Khrestus went to India, a position also found in the acts of Thomas. However John "goldmouthed" Chrysptom referred his burial place as Edessa in Syyria.

Religion began with Adam and Eve-and Jesus fulfilled the promise of the coming of the Messiah

from my prospective he traveled through the words or the ancestors back to Adam and Eve

and as a Jew may I say=THE TRUTH IS WE WERE PROMISED A MESSIAH-Isaiah 9:6 UNTO us will be born a child, a son will be given and he will be almighty God and the prince of peace."
Isaiah 52:13-53:12 "He will be exalted...first he will be marred more than any man, and lay down his life to make atonement for our sins, He will die with the wicked and be burried with the rich."

who do you know fulfills this and the commanded blood sacrifice innocent for our guilt Moses Leviticus 17:11

from a Jew Bar Mitzvahd who believes Moses, Isaiah and the Messiah too. and praying for you

Adam and Eve even before China had the promise of the comming of the Messiah and redemption of mankind-and if you e mail me I will send you a link for Buddahs prediction of the comming of Jesus to forgive sins too. Its all interlinked

Jesus studied religion from Gurugovinda Pada in Himalayas and he travelled throgh Kashmir. His teachings are similar to confusion values and Hindu scripture Bhagavath Geeta and Upanishads.Where Jesus spent his age up to 30 is not available or recorded in any books. His robe resembles Hindu saints.Name Jesus it is derived from Josua ,a community in North India.Christ name resembles crishna(Krishna-Hindu God). What Jesus did was propagating oriental religion and values in his teachings or Gospels. He strictly followed Guru-Shisya ( Teacher-deciples) system.
If Jesus was born in India he would have been treated as God or as incarnation.(Not as son of God)

Jesus didn't need to travel the Silk Road...there were enough materials back home for his clothes.
