- JAIL BIRDS -
How my God, can you let an imprisoned bird suffer?
Every life lives on another, pray tell me why to die?
Soulful are songs of birds within a cage that cry.
Every day you seem to pass them by.
Some say, set free, inextricably there others,
if your mercy's present help me to discover
with promise of life misery how to be your lover.
Give me a caring Warden who will set me free,
and like a released bird from it's cage I'll fly away.
It seems something more should be expected
if true love bears with pain, and in a song here
combines with it's bitter-sweet refrain.
Can it be the answer, it's wrong to complain?
Anger and ignorance kill the beauties that remain.

Jumbled? Garbled?
this work is a literary disaster, there is lack of substance and continuity. This writing needs to go back to the drawing board for a complete re-work.
