I have been unable to meet any new women since the last girl I dated. I'm tempted to try seeing her again. I think she'd be interested because she spontaneously dropped by, about a month ago, to see how I was, after having no contact with each other for about a year.

Pros: she seems to accept me in spite of my flaws, she's a decent person, she's cute

Cons: used to call me literally 20 times a day and want know everything I was doing, which was borderline creepy. She can be very immature and smothering.

If I try her again I feel like I would be "settling" and setting myself up for unpleasantness. On the other hand, I am so sick of being alone and unable to meet anyone new. My gut says stay away from her, you'll be sorry if you don't. But my solitude is killing me!

It does sound like she would be open to a relationship, but likely it would be same as before. Unless you think she has matured, I would not bother.

Without more information, I am sorry I do not have an alternative ideas on meeting new women. I would assume that you are willing to be outgoing and talk to new people at work, school, church, etc. Other outlets: intramural sports, clubs (like computer, art, travel, hobbies, etc.) or even political groups (GOP or Dem). Also, never assume someone is taken or will say no.

She really is a weird. I think that you should just stop seeing her, or thiking of having a gf. What you should do is just let someone come by surprice. There is someone out there in the world feeling the same way that you are. And if you keep looking for someone you may find it, but it wont by solemate. Just go out, have fun, travel, and when time comes, you will find that special person.

NO-IIIIE!

It is settling and your just going to be unhappy again. I think you need to be patient and just wait for a new lady to come in the picture.

HELLO????? Do you think she'll change in a year or even two? I doubt it. You're just probably feeling lonely and you'll probably break up again. Just chill............nothing wrong with being single. If you have flaws.....FIX THEM.
